Saturn S-series Steering Gear Removal and Replacement
Common procedures for changing a steering universal joint on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. 1. Remove the hub bearing assembly, the corners of the hub assembly needs to be heated for the 3 rear bolts to come out 2. Remove the driveshaft 3. Place the drive shaft on vise and extract the c-clips from all corners of the u-joint 4. Use a removal tool to press the u-joint out, careful not to damage the castle-ring while doing this (oops) Enjoy!!
